Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MRI Technologist interested in working in a dynamic, short-term acute care Level III trauma center. As part of a collaborative radiology team, you'll perform essential imaging services, providing high-quality MRI scans to support diagnosis and patient care. You'll utilize EPIC for charting, working in a modern facility with free on-site parking. Candidates must be able to float between two hospital locations as operational needs arise.
Schedule:
5x8-hour shifts (14:15-23:15, evenings) Rotating weekends and holidays 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
Certification in MRI Technology required Demonstrated proficiency in MRI imaging within an acute care or hospital setting Flexibility to float between assigned hospital locations Charting experience with EPIC preferred Candidates must reside more than 75 miles away from the site location Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans according to physicians' orders, ensuring patient safety and care throughout procedures Operate and maintain MRI equipment in adherence to protocols and safety standards Assist radiologists with image acquisition for diagnostic interpretation Accurately document exams and patient information using the EPIC charting system Provide excellent patient service and support, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort Participate in departmental rotations, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
