Job Description Medical Assistant Extern The extern will shadow the preceptor when performing the below tasks, with permission from the patient:

Administrative Shadowing:

Assist with patient flow Greet and escort patient throughout the facility with patient's permission Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, burning CD's, proper disposal of HPI Restocking supplies Proper handling of medical equipment

Clinical Shadowing:
