Qualifications:

Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) Skilled in MRI imaging, with experience as an MRI Tech Proficient in operating Siemens MRI equipment Must meet the requirements for RT credentialing to push contrast as required by Connecticut state regulations Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and care for patients

Key Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images following physician orders Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for imaging studies Administer IV contrast in compliance with state guidelines and facility protocols Monitor patient safety and well-being throughout the imaging process Accurately document procedures and maintain equipment Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare specialists to support diagnostic needs Maintain a patient-focused approach, ensuring confidentiality and compassionate care
