MRI Technician

Schedule & Hours:

2:00 pm - 10:00 pm 40 hours per week, guaranteed

Key Qualifications:

Certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required Experience operating MRI equipment, including proficiency with GE, Hitachi, and Siemens magnets preferred No state radiology license required Strong technical skills and the ability to adapt to multi-manufacturer platforms Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality imaging and patient safety

Responsibilities:

Conduct MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and standardized protocols Operate high-field magnets (7 GE, 2 Hitachi, and 1 Siemens) and address technical challenges as they arise Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal image acquisition Maintain clear communication with patients to promote comfort and cooperation during procedures Collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team to support swift and accurate diagnoses Monitor equipment performance and participate in minor troubleshooting and maintenance
