Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment and leverage your expertise in MRI technology at a busy short-term acute care Level III trauma center. This contract opportunity offers hands-on involvement in advanced imaging and the chance to work with a collaborative team dedicated to patient-centered care.
Schedule/Hours:
Five 8-hour evening shifts (14:15 - 23:15) Rotating weekends and holidays 40 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience operating MRI imaging equipment Valid certification in MRI technology (no state license required) Ability and willingness to float between designated hospital sites as needed Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record charting preferred Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility location
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI exams as ordered by physicians, following proper imaging protocols Maintain accurate imaging documentation using the EPIC charting system Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process Communicate clearly with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals Support both main and secondary hospital locations based on staffing needs Uphold all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
