Immediately Job Description $1000 Sign On Incentive! Pay rates starting at $23+ based on experience and education! Beacon Services of Connecticut is a private group practice of behavior analysts, behavioral therapists and specialized therapists organized to provide intensive behavioral and instructional services to individuals with disabilities. This practice specializes in evidence-based treatment to young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD). Beacon Services of Connecticut is currently seeking a Behavior Therapist for our Public School Division who will be responsible for the implementation of teaching and behavioral plans and programs developed by the BCBAs in schools. Responsibilities will include working one-on-one with children to help improve social, language and academic skills as well as implementing all teaching and behavioral protocols, providing continuity of programming in individual instruction and in the regular education classroom, and recording and summarizing all educational and behavioral data. The Behavior Therapist is assigned to a student for up to 184 school days and for the entire school day (including student arrival and departure). We provide tuition support!
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Education, Psychology, human services or related field Experience utilizing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) a plus Must have personal vehicle to travel

Ability to relate to students and be fun. Strong communication skills to confidently report information to clinical staff and school team members. Organizational Skills to effectively process, implement and teach programs. Self-Confidence to work in a school environment.
