Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract A skilled MRI Technologist is needed for a contract position with a 13-week duration, specializing in high-quality diagnostic imaging. This role focuses on MRI procedures using Siemens equipment and is essential for supporting accurate patient diagnoses through advanced imaging techniques.

Schedule:

4x10 hour shifts per week Day shift

Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT), required for pushing contrast in Connecticut Demonstrated experience in MRI imaging, with a solid foundation in MRI protocols and patient positioning Familiarity with Siemens MRI systems is highly preferred ARRT certification in MRI is strongly desired Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform MRI scans following physicians' orders, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times Administer contrast materials as required, strictly adhering to regulations and safety protocols Operate Siemens MRI equipment efficiently and troubleshoot basic technical issues Consistently follow imaging protocols and document scan parameters accurately in electronic medical records Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging areas, including quality assurance checks on equipment Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
