WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for patients with orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. Position patients properly while producing accurate, clinically useful images. Screen patients for precautions or contraindications before imaging. Explain procedures, answer questions and help patients remain comfortable throughout the process. Maintain, clean and disinfect radiographic equipment. Provide regional office coverage when needed based on staffing requirements.

SKILLS YOU NEED

Required:

Active Connecticut Radiologic Technologist license.

Required:

Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program and registered as a Radiologic Technologist.

Preferred:

Previous orthopedic, musculoskeletal or outpatient imaging experience

Preferred:

Experience documenting within an EMR or EHR system.
