Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced professional to support a busy imaging department specializing in Cath Lab procedures. This contract role offers a dynamic environment, partnering with a skilled clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care. The position is structured for those who thrive in a detail-oriented and fast-paced setting.
Schedule:
6:30am to 5pm, with assigned late days during the week No weekends or holidays
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist (Imaging Cath Lab Tech) Valid RCIS certification or RT(R) license Current ACLS and BLS certifications Strong knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to rapidly changing clinical situations and protocols
Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures Monitor patients' condition throughout procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy Maintain detailed and accurate procedure documentation Uphold infection control and patient privacy standards Inventory and manage supplies related to the Cath Lab Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education when required This opportunity provides a balanced work schedule with no weekend or holiday shifts, making it ideal for professionals seeking both challenge and work-life balance.
