Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in diagnostic radiology, including advanced proficiency in computed tomography (CT) imaging, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. This role offers both full-time and PRN (as-needed) opportunities, providing flexibility to support our diverse clinical needs. Duties Operate and maintain advanced CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for various medical conditions. Perform a variety of radiologic procedures, including PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, fluoroscopy, and interventional radiology techniques. Ensure adherence to radiation safety procedures and implement radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff. Assist in emergency situations by providing timely imaging support in urgent care, emergency room, and Level I or Level II trauma center settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to facilitate accurate diagnostic evaluations based on detailed anatomy and physiology knowledge. Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while providing exceptional patient care and education. Operate medical imaging equipment with precision, ensuring proper positioning, image quality, and documentation. Follow aseptic techniques and infection control standards during all procedures to ensure patient safety. Skills Proven experience in urgent care, emergency room settings, or trauma centers with Level I or Level II trauma center experience preferred. Expertise in sonography, nuclear medicine, interventional radiography, and diagnostic radiology procedures. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and radiologic imaging principles. Proficiency in operating X-ray, fluoroscopy, PET scan machines, DEXA scanners, mammography units, and other radiology equipment. Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols effectively. Ability to interpret diagnostic images accurately for clinical evaluation. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration. Knowledge of medical equipment operation combined with a commitment to maintaining high standards of radiation safety and patient care.
