Job Description

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist on a PRN (as needed) basis to join our dynamic radiology team. In this role, the technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans used in medical diagnosis and treatment plans. You will operate CT imaging equipment to produce images of tissues, organs, bones, and vessels and administer contrast materials as required. Working closely with radiologists, you will ensure accurate imaging interpretation that will aid in patient diagnoses. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to patient care. Responsibilities Operate CT equipment for diagnostic procedures, ensuring clarity and accuracy of images. Administer and record contrast medium application as prescribed. Collaborate with radiologists to determine proper imaging techniques. Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to radiation and contrast materials. Document and record all scans performed. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of advancements in CT technology. Required Skills Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment. Strong understanding of radiology protocols and anatomy. Excellent patient management and communication skills. Ability to interpret physicians' instructions accurately. Technical skills to perform complex scanning protocols.
