Job Summary and Qualifications Lead MRI Technologist Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Lead MRI Technologist on a full-time basis. As Lead MRI Technologist, duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for the assignment of staff and coordination of departmental operations in ensuring quality patient care Assists director with interviewing and serves as a clinical resource and mentor Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment Obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within

accurately and on time Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases Keep room stocked with necessary supplies Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care Qualifications Graduate of a 2-year Radiologic Technology program at an accredited school Three (3) to five (5) years previous MRI Technologist experience, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting Clear/active State of Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) Valid ARRT (MR) Current basic life support (BLS) certification Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer and clerical skills Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions Benefits HCA Florida Blake Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
