No Technologist Assistant Responsibilities :

Imaging ,under the direction of the clinical manager, assists with patient screening, room set up and prepares patient for exam. Prepares contrast for exam and loads contrast injector as necessary. Provides patient education as instructed by the Imaging Technologist and performs patient education documentation in the patient electronic record. Follows MRI Level II training requirements and standards, where applicable. Works with clinical staff to meet department turnaround times and maintain appropriate exam start times. Responsibilities may be expanded or restricted at the discretion of the manager, based upon patient volumes and/or the needs of the department.

Requirements:

BLS (Basic Life Support) High School Graduate or Equivalent GED 1 year Hospital Transport or Hospital in related field required (for inpatient/hospital position only) 1 year Business Related, Imaging Services, Medical Office experience preferred BayCare Health System is a leading not for profit organization in the Tampa Bay area that has been recognized as a top place to work.
