Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will operate advanced medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images that assist physicians in evaluating and diagnosing patient conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills and medical knowledge directly impact patient care and outcomes. Duties Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Follow strict aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Accurately interpret and evaluate diagnostic images for clarity, quality, and diagnostic value. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive diagnostic evaluation. Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and imaging results in compliance with medical terminology standards. Adhere to safety protocols specific to nuclear medicine and emergency room environments, especially within Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers. Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and operated according to manufacturer specifications. Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to optimize imaging techniques for different body parts. Assist in emergency situations by providing rapid diagnostic imaging in urgent care or emergency room settings. Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology related to diagnostic radiology and physiology. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining aseptic technique standards. Excellent diagnostic evaluation skills with attention to detail for image quality assessment. Knowledge of safety protocols specific to radiation exposure management. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-stakes environments such as trauma centers or emergency departments. Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating patients about procedures.
