GLC Government Division is hiring Radiology Technician for a 5 year at FCC Coleman .

Schedule:

The contractor shall normally provide eight (8) one‑hour sessions per day, five (5) days per week, excluding Federal Holidays. Standard work hours shall be from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break scheduled between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM. These hours may be adjusted as necessary to meet the needs of the institution. The contractor shall not normally exceed forty (40) hours per week.

Pay :

$36.84 The contractor shall provide the following Radiology Technician services, which include, but are not limited to, the items listed below. Therefore, the contractor shall be capable of performing any and all radiology procedures needed without any technical support. Perform routine radiologic procedures ordered by the medical staff for the AIC population at the institution Transmit, retrieve X-ray images and reports electronically, and scan reports into AIC's Bureau Electronic Medical Record(BEMR) Receive training to retrieve radiographic consults from BEMR and schedule them to perform all radiographic procedures Work with an AIC population from a variety of cultural, racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds Evaluate radiographic equipment for calibrations and repairs Possess knowledge of basic emergency situations that may occur during special radiographic procedures Schedule exams and maintain records Possess knowledge of various pathological abnormalities as demonstrated by radiographic imaging Independently assess and select technical exposure factors and positions necessary to obtain a proper quality diagnostic exam Receive patients and explain procedures to alleviate undue anxiety Independently perform all radiographic procedures, i.e., chest, bone, skull, spine, and portable x-rays, etc.

Requirments:

The Contractor must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Must be fully licensed to perform radiological procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. Licensed by the state of Florida. Must have at least three (3) or more years of experience.
