Patients can receive immediate orthopedic care, get X-Ray, be evaluated by onsite orthopedic clinicians and leave fully treated in under one hour. We have dedicated representatives for workers comp cases and have a patient experience like none other.
REQUIRED
Florida x-ray tech license required . Excellent clinical and evaluation skills, ability to concentrate and be attentive to details. Excellent skills in communication and resolution of conflict. Demonstrates tact, timeliness, accountability, commitment, leadership to achieve goals. English & Spanish speaking required.EXPERIENCE
1+ years' experience preferred. Candidate with orthopedic clinical setting experience preferred. Will train the right, licensed candidate.JOB DETAILS
Greet patients in waiting area, assure patient flow runs smoothly and efficiently, escort patients to discharge counter.- Obtain patient history; assess/triage patient, measure vital signs, and record information on chart.
- Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination.
- Position instruments and equipment and hand to clinician as directed. Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after use.
- Administer injections, medications, dress/bandage wound and incisions, and assist provider with any procedures.
- Remove sutures/staples and change sterile and non-sterile dressings.
- Perform basic x-rays with x-ray set-up.
- Complete medical chart to include medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used.
- Perform patient call backs, arrange referrals and testing, and schedule follow-up appointments.
- Monitor disposable inventory and place orders for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
- Perform quality checks on medical equipment.
- Assist registration staff and perform additional clerical duties as necessary.
