The technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, bone density studies, and specialized breast procedures including stereotactic breast biopsies and Savi/needle localization under physician direction. Shift:

8:00:00AM to 4:30:00PM What the Mammography Tech will be doing: Perform screening and diagnostic mammography and bone density examinations. Mammography Tech:

Education :

Two years formal education in a hospital-based program or associates degree in radiologic technology required.

Experience:

One year experience in mammography related services required.

Certification:

ARRT certification in radiology required. ARRT certification in mammography required. Documentation and completions of 40 hours of mammographic continuing education required by MQSA after April 28,1999. ARRT Registered or certification in Bone Densitometry optional.

License:
