Job Description

Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer in Key West, Florida. This position involves providing diagnostic vascular ultrasound services in a healthcare facility. The role requires technical expertise in vascular sonography, including abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and small parts imaging, with the ability to perform guided biopsies or aspirations as needed.

Schedule:
Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
ARDMS registered in general Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) and vascular (RVT), BLS certification, OB experience, and a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school, registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and maintain a State License as a general radiographer or be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with small parts (thyroid, breast, scrotum), ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.
Additional Information:
The Ultrasound Technician will deliver diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations, following departmental protocols under the supervision of a Radiologist. Prior housing arrangements within 50 miles of the facility should be secured before acceptance, and an address must be provided.
