This MRI technologist opportunity is based at a modern outpatient imaging center in Lakeland, Florida, a growing city set among beautiful lakes with a relaxed, family-friendly lifestyle. You will work with GE MRI equipment in a comfortable, streamlined environment focused on quality imaging, safety, and service. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI examinations using GE scanners, following established protocols and adjusting techniques as needed to obtain optimal images. You will screen patients for safety, verify orders, position patients accurately, manage coils, and ensure appropriate use of contrast in coordination with clinical staff. A typical day includes a steady, scheduled outpatient caseload such as neuro, musculoskeletal, body, and follow-up oncology studies, with a focus on timely, efficient throughput while maintaining excellent image quality and patient care. You will be expected to maintain rigorous MRI safety standards, educate patients about their exams, address concerns related to anxiety or claustrophobia, and communicate clearly with radiologists and referring providers. You will also complete all documentation in the EMR/RIS, verify patient identifiers, and coordinate with front office staff and technologists from other modalities as needed. The schedule is designed to support work-life balance, with no call and no weekend requirements. Shifts are typically daytime or early evening hours consistent with outpatient operations, allowing you to enjoy Lakeland's lifestyle, outdoor recreation, and easy day trips to nearby Gulf Coast or Atlantic attractions. REQUIREMENTS MRI

Technologist, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Experience:

3 years Certifications(At least one of the following): MR-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, CERT-ARMRIT Need GE and Hitachi Open MRI experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Prior Traveler Experience in an Outpatient Imaging Center
