Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiology Technician, where your expertise in medical imaging will play a vital role in patient diagnosis and care. Responsibilities Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam Operate portable X-ray equipment Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff during all imaging processes Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnostic evaluations and interpret imaging results when necessary Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and technical data in compliance with healthcare regulations Monitor equipment functionality regularly, perform routine calibration, and report any malfunctions promptly to ensure optimal performance Assist in emergency situations within Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers by providing rapid imaging support in urgent care or emergency room settings Requirements Proven experience with medical imaging X-ray, Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles Hands-on experience is highly preferred Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and the ability to adapt imaging protocols based on clinical needs Demonstrated proficiency in aseptic technique and maintaining a sterile environment during invasive procedures when applicable Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) is required; Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding career where your technical expertise makes a real difference.
