Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered MRI Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this vital role, you will operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners to produce detailed images of patients' internal structures, supporting accurate diagnosis and patient care. Your expertise in MRI technology, patient safety, and medical imaging will contribute significantly to the quality of diagnostic evaluations. Duties Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and positioning them correctly for optimal imaging results Operate MRI scanners and related equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines Ensure strict adherence to patient safety regulations, aseptic techniques, and equipment safety procedures throughout all procedures Acquire high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation by utilizing comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, including image quality reports and patient records within Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate interpretation of images and support diagnostic radiology processes Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, calibration, and proper functioning of all medical imaging equipment Experience Proven experience operating MRI scanners with a strong understanding of medical imaging principles and anatomy knowledge Certification as a Registered MRI Technologist from an accredited program or certifying body Knowledge of medical equipment operation, safety procedures, and image acquisition standards for patient care Basic life support (BLS) certification is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations Experience working with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for image storage and retrieval Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes Join us in delivering exceptional patient-centered care through advanced imaging technology!
