Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, efficient surgical services in a highly collaborative, outpatient environment. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented part-time radiologic technologist to join our surgical team. In this role, you will exclusively operate mobile C-arm fluoroscopy units to provide real-time diagnostic imaging. This position focuses directly on supporting our Pain Management, Orthopedics, and Spine surgical procedures. Your expertise in intraoperative positioning, radiation safety, and sterile field maintenance will directly ensure surgical precision and excellent patient outcomes. Responsibilities Operate mobile C-arm equipment with precision during Pain Management injections, Orthopedic fixations, and Spine procedures. Position patients accurately on the operating table to achieve optimal diagnostic views while ensuring comfort and safety. Maintain the sterile field strictly, implementing proper aseptic techniques during all live imaging procedures. Enforce radiation safety protocols (ALARA) to protect patients, physicians, and OR staff, including managing lead shielding. Collaborate closely with surgeons , nurses, and surgical techs to ensure seamless, real-time imaging workflows. Document technical details and patient information accurately within the medical records system. Troubleshoot and maintain C-arm equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and ready for surgical cases. Qualifications Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (R) is required. State licensure/certification for medical imaging professionals as required by law. Proven experience operating mobile C-arm units specifically for pain management, ortho, or spine cases. Strong understanding of surgical anatomy , fluoroscopic angles, and needle/hardware visualization. Expertise in sterile technique and infection control protocols within an OR setting. Excellent communication skills , with the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic surgical situations. Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
