Job Description

About us Othopaedic Associates of South Broward is a small business in HEALTH_CARE_MEDICAL in Hollywood, FL. We are professional, agile, professional and our goal is to Satisfy our patients.

Responsibilities:
Spanish also is a plus
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have
  • Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition
  • Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
  • Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic evaluations
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
  • Valid certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist
  • Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
  • Experience working in an emergency room (ER) setting is preferred
  • Additional certifications in mammography, CT, PET scan, or sonography are a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
