Key Qualifications:

Valid certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from an accredited program Current state licensure as required for CT Technologists Strong working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, image formation, and contrast media Demonstrated experience operating a variety of CT scanners and imaging equipment Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise imaging protocols BLS certification (Basic Life Support) Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients and clinical staff Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare imaging setting is highly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes and maintaining patient comfort throughout Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adjusting parameters to optimize image quality Review images for diagnostic accuracy before submitting to radiologists Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures within the imaging departments information system Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, self, and team Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to address clinical questions and support diagnostic decisions Participate in continuing education to stay updated with advancements in CT imaging technology
