Job Description

HCA Healthcare is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for diverse patient populations. In this role, you will operate MRI equipment, follow established imaging protocols, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout exams. You'll work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians to support accurate diagnosis and timely care. Responsibilities include patient screening, contrast administration, image quality assurance, and proper documentation within the electronic health record. Responsibilities Perform high-quality MRI examinations following established protocols Ensure patient safety, screening for contraindications and explaining procedures Position patients and operate MRI equipment to obtain optimal images Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to support accurate diagnoses Administer and monitor contrast agents per policy and provider orders Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EHRAdhere to radiation safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report service needs Assist with scheduling, workflow, and patient throughput Support a compassionate, patient-centered care environment Required Skills MRI imaging operation Patient positioning Radiologic anatomy knowledge MRI safety protocols Contrast administration Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Radiology workflow management Infection control procedures Basic equipment troubleshooting Radiology PACS usage
