HCA Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Radiographer II to support complex, image-guided procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. In this role, you will assist interventional radiologists with vascular and non-vascular interventions, operate fluoroscopy and ancillary imaging equipment, and maintain strict radiation safety and sterile technique. You will prepare patients, monitor status throughout procedures, document accurately in EMR/PACS, and coordinate with nurses and physicians to ensure safe, efficient care. Responsibilities Assist interventional radiologists with vascular and non-vascular image-guided procedures Operate fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment safely and effectively Apply radiation protection principles and monitor patient and staff dose Maintain sterile field and assist with scrub duties during invasive procedures Prepare patients, obtain history, and provide procedure education and support Monitor patient status and vitals, escalating concerns to physicians and nurses Document procedures, supplies, and radiation data in EMR and PACS systems Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, efficient workflow Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and procedure rooms Support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives within the department Required Skills Interventional radiology procedures Fluoroscopy operation Radiation safety and dose monitoring Sterile technique and scrub assistance Vascular access and catheter manipulation support Contrast media administration and reaction management PACS and RIS systems Patient monitoring and vital signs Radiologic equipment troubleshooting Electronic medical record documentation
