Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as an MRI Technologist, where you will play a vital role in capturing high-quality diagnostic images that aid in accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures will ensure precise imaging results. You will work closely with physicians and radiologists to provide exceptional patient care while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your technical skills and medical knowledge in a fast-paced, rewarding environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes. Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2pm NO WEEKENDS and NO CALL! Duties Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to ensure optimal imaging results. Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, adjusting parameters to capture detailed images of various anatomical regions. Collaborate with medical staff to evaluate diagnostic images for clarity and accuracy, assisting in diagnostic evaluation. Maintain strict aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infections and ensure patient safety. Monitor patients throughout the imaging process, observing physiological responses and providing reassurance as needed. Keep detailed records of procedures performed, including technical parameters and patient information, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to continually enhance service quality. Requirements Proven experience in MRI technology with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to imaging procedures. Proficiency in operating MRI machines Solid knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to accurately interpret images and assist in diagnosis. Ability to apply aseptic techniques diligently during all procedures to maintain a sterile environment. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly to patients and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams. Strong attention to detail for evaluating image quality and ensuring accurate documentation. Certification or licensure as an MRI Technologist is required expertise directly impacts patient care!
