Job Description
HCA Healthcare is seeking a PRN Multimodality CT and MRI technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-centered environment. In this role, you will perform CT and MRI exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate closely with radiologists and care teams. Responsibilities include operating advanced imaging equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to radiation and MRI safety protocols. Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT and MRI diagnostic imaging procedures following physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably, explaining procedures and addressing concerns Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain CT and MRI equipment, ensuring accurate image acquisition Review images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists and providers on findings Observe and enforce radiation safety and MRI safety standards for patients, staff, and self Verify patient identity, review medical history, and confirm exam indications and contraindications Document exams accurately in the RIS/PACS and electronic health record systems Provide PRN coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed by the department Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms, supplies, and equipment Participate in ongoing training, quality improvement, and compliance with HCA Healthcare policies Required Skills CT imaging MRI imaging Radiologic positioning Cross-sectional anatomy Contrast administration Radiation safety MRI safety screening
