Responsible for operating a variety of x-ray equipment in both a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting. Confirming order with patient and making any corrections to exam. Must obtain quality image including both technical and positional factors. Responsible for maintaining exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable. Confirming patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing and releasing images. Assuring all "Stat" procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately. Requirements Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date State Registered Radiologic Technician Registered Radiographer (ARRT
