Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist CT & X-Ray South Florida Permanent & Full-Time Direct Hire CT & X-Ray Radiology Multiple Openings A hospital-based radiology department located in South Florida, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes southwest of Miami , is seeking experienced Multi-Modality Imaging Technologists with CT and X-ray experience to join its imaging team. There are three full-time openings available. Two positions offer a consistent day-shift schedule , while one position has a variable schedule . Candidates must have a minimum of one year of professional imaging experience . The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing both CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations and providing high-quality patient care in a hospital-based environment. Schedule Full-time, permanent positions Three openings available Two positions on a consistent day shift Day-shift schedule: 7:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m. One position with a variable schedule Schedule details to be discussed during the interview process Duties & Responsibilities Perform CT examinations according to established imaging protocols. Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as required. Provide imaging services for hospital-based and emergency patients. Prepare patients for CT and radiographic procedures. Verify patient identification, clinical history, and examination orders. Position patients appropriately for CT and X-ray examinations. Operate CT and radiographic equipment safely and effectively. Select appropriate imaging protocols based on the examination ordered. Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists. Administer contrast media in accordance with facility protocols and applicable requirements. Monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures. Recognize and respond appropriately to contrast reactions and patient emergencies. Evaluate images for technical quality and repeat examinations when appropriate. Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation. Perform quality-control procedures and assist with equipment troubleshooting. Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles. Maintain compliance with departmental, regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, technologists, and other healthcare professionals. Provide compassionate and professional patient care. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Perform additional imaging responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of professional imaging experience required. CT experience required. X-ray experience required. ARRT certification/registry required. Appropriate Florida radiologic licensure required. BLS certification required. Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required. Demonstrated ability to independently perform CT and X-ray examinations. Strong knowledge of CT protocols, positioning, radiation safety, and image quality. Strong patient-care and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Strong critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently in a hospital-based imaging environment. Ability to adapt to variable scheduling when required. Commitment to patient safety, quality imaging, and regulatory compliance.
