Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Advance your imaging career by delivering expert CT services in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide cutting-edge diagnostic care while working collaboratively with dedicated healthcare professionals.
Schedule:
Saturday & Sunday, 8:30am - 7:00pm Day shift
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Valid ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (ARRT-R and ARRT-CT) Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) At least one year of experience in Radiology required; less than one year of CT experience considered Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and safe imaging practices Ability to adapt to changing department needs and maintain excellent communication in fast-paced environments Proven attention to detail, multitasking, and adherence to high standards in patient care and customer service
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT procedures independently following all department protocols Verify patient identification and clinical orders before each procedure, confirming relevant clinical history Prepare and position patients, explain procedures clearly, and ensure comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout exams Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report malfunctions as needed Apply radiation safety principles to minimize patient exposure Administer contrast media safely and observe patients for adverse reactions Document and send imaging studies efficiently, maintaining strict quality control standards Support department operations, assist peers, and readily communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members Maintain a clean, organized work area and keep supplies stocked This is an ideal opportunity for CT technologists who are committed to providing superior patient care through technical expertise and compassionate service.
