Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for an Imaging X-ray professional to provide high-quality radiologic services on a contract basis. The ideal applicant will have a background in diagnostic imaging, specifically as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist, and the ability to deliver exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
Current certification or registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Valid state license (if required) Previous experience operating X-ray equipment in a clinical or hospital environment Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a healthcare team Commitment to patient privacy and compliance with HIPAA regulationsResponsibilities:
Operate X-ray imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images according to physician orders Prepare patients for radiologic examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety Adhere strictly to established protocols, radiation safety, and infection control measures Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff Monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality and arrange for maintenance or repairs as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area This contract position provides you with the opportunity to utilize your imaging expertise in a professional medical setting while making a positive impact on patient health and outcomes.
