ARRT - MRI

certification required AHA BLS certification required Prior travel experience required Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, protocols, and safety practices Excellent patient-care and communication skills Ability to work independently and effectively in a clinical imaging environment Responsibilities Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout MRI procedures Verify patient information, orders, and MRI safety screening Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Follow established MRI safety protocols and maintain a safe imaging environment Review images for quality and completeness and repeat sequences when necessary Provide patients with clear instructions and reassurance throughout the examination Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation Follow infection-control and department procedures Identify and report equipment or image-quality issues as appropriate MRI technologists are responsible for obtaining quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. $2,400.00 - $2,600.00 per week
