Key Qualifications:
Current ARRT (R) certification and active state licensure Minimum of one year of recent experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or large clinical setting Proficiency in vascular, neuro, and body IR procedures Familiarity with standard imaging equipment and safety protocols Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams BLS certification required
Responsibilities:
Operate imaging equipment to assist physicians in minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout each procedure Accurately document imaging results and patient information in electronic health records Maintain cleanliness and calibration of imaging equipment Adhere to all safety, privacy, and infection control standards Provide patient education and support during procedures
