In this vital role, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce detailed images of patients' internal structures, supporting accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. Your expertise in medical imaging, anatomy, and patient safety will ensure high-quality imaging procedures while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient interactions. Responsibilities Operate MRI scanners with precision to acquire high-resolution images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring adherence to equipment safety procedures. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the scan. Conduct additional imaging procedures such as CT scans, DEXA scans, sonography, and vascular access as needed to support comprehensive diagnostic evaluations. Maintain thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and radiology protocols to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy. Ensure patient safety by following all safety regulations, aseptic techniques, and infection control protocols during imaging procedures. Manage image data using Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), ensuring accurate storage and retrieval of images for physician review. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate diagnostic radiology processes and assist in patient care activities related to medical imaging. Qualifications Proven experience operating MRI scanners with a strong understanding of medical imaging principles. Knowledge of

CT, DEXA

scan, sonography, vascular access techniques, and other diagnostic modalities is highly desirable. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required to ensure preparedness for emergency situations. Proficiency in using medical equipment operation systems and understanding equipment safety procedures is essential. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes enhances your ability to deliver quality care.
