Interventional Radiology Tech

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Perform specialized imaging procedures in a dynamic Interventional Radiology setting, utilizing advanced technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions. This contract role offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing stability and a balanced schedule.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by providing real-time imaging support Analyze procedural images to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with safety protocols Prepare patients for procedures and provide compassionate care throughout Document procedures accurately in patient records

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) Proficiency with imaging technologies specific to Interventional Radiology Strong understanding of radiologic safety and infection control standards Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Certification and licensure as required by state and employer guidelines
