Schedule:
Flexible scheduling options available. We offer a variety of shift arrangements and are committed to finding a schedule that supports both employee preferences and patient care needs. Responsibilities Performs and supervises modality daily operations and provides leadership relative to the assigned area. This position requires 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions. Promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment. The Lead CT Technologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained as well as performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of CT equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate. What you will do Coordinates patient flow and provides guidance to staff technologists Provides patient care Provides high quality images Performs image file management in PACS Directs daily departmental operations Oversees orientation and continuing education programs for employees Directs and manages personnel to include staffing schedules and annual evaluations Manages supplies and contains costs Promotes customer service excellence Performs all accreditation responsibilities required by the American College of Radiology Must be competent and proficient to position, select correct protocol and utilize imaging equipment on patients of all age groups for radiological exams, when requested. Qualifications Education Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required Work Experience 3 years of technical experience Required Experience in leadership of personnel Preferred Licenses and Certifications ARRT•American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with certification in computed tomography (CT) Upon Hire Required and CT•Computed Tomography Upon Hire Required and BLS•
