2987666765-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Wellstar is seeking a CT Tech Lead to guide high-quality, patient-centered CT imaging services within our integrated, not-for-profit health system. In this role, you will perform advanced CT procedures, coordinate daily workflow, and serve as a clinical resource to technologists. You will ensure adherence to radiation safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards while collaborating closely with radiologists and care teams. Responsibilities Perform and oversee CT imaging procedures following physician orders and safety protocols Lead daily workflow for CT suite, prioritizing patient throughput and quality Mentor, train, and precept CT technologists and new team members Ensure compliance with radiation safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to optimize patient care Monitor image quality and troubleshoot technical issues with CT equipment Assist with scheduling, staffing input, and coordination of CT coverage Support implementation of new protocols, technologies, and best practices Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and imaging systems Promote a culture of safety, compassion, inclusion, and continuous improvement Required Skills Computed tomography (CT) scanning Radiologic imaging protocols Radiation safety and dose optimization Contrast administration and IV skills PACS/RIS and EMR documentation Lead or charge technologist experience Quality assurance and image review Workflow coordination and scheduling support Patient positioning and immobilization Regulatory and accreditation compliance (e.g., The Joint Commission)
