Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Bring your expertise in imaging and CT technology to a specialized healthcare setting where your skills will directly impact patient outcomes. As an essential diagnostic team member, you'll operate advanced CT equipment and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide precise, high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients to obtain accurate diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and safety Monitor image quality and make necessary adjustments for optimal clarity Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot CT equipment as needed Document procedures and patient information thoroughly in electronic medical records Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members to relay important information Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols to ensure a secure clinical environment
Qualifications:
Certification or registry-eligible in CT from an accredited program (ARRT CT preferred) Current state licensure as required by regulatory guidelines Demonstrated experience operating CT imaging systems in a healthcare setting Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, imaging techniques, and diagnostic procedures Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Able to provide compassionate patient care and support during procedures
