Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Step into a vital position providing advanced CT imaging services in a leading healthcare environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to work alongside accomplished professionals, utilizing leading-edge technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images essential for patient care and medical decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
Active certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT CT preferred) Current Radiologic Technologist state license as required At least one year of recent CT imaging experience in a clinical setting Comprehensive understanding of imaging protocols, patient safety procedures, and radiation safety Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure patient comfort and effective collaboration with staff Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images while adhering to prescribed protocols and safety standards Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring their comfort throughout exams Work closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to review images and ensure diagnostic quality Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with facility regulations and HIPAA guidelines Perform equipment checks and collaborate with maintenance staff to resolve technical issues promptly Demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of patient care, ethics, and confidentiality
