Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Travel MRI Technologist•Days | Rome, GA We are seeking a dependable MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Rome . This is a great opportunity for both experienced travelers and first-time travelers looking to build experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Assignment Details Shift:
8-hour days (40 hours/week)
Schedule:
Monday•Friday | 7:00 AM•3:30
PM Duration:
13 weeks
Call:
Yes•7 days of call once every 6th week (details discussed during interview)
Weekend Requirement:
None Holidays:
Required if they fall on scheduled shift

2 rooms
Volume:
~20 patients/day (weekdays), ~18/day (weekends)

Inpatient & Outpatient Cases:
General MRI (no specialty scans required) Includes patients with implants, pacemakers, and those requiring anesthesia

Siemens MRI (required experience)

EPIC (required)
Support:
24/7 transport, RT coverage, hospitalists, rapid response team, and off-site radiologists Requirements Minimum 1 year of MRI experience (any setting) First-time travelers accepted ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification required BLS certification required State licensure required Skills Needed Experience with inpatient and outpatient MRI Proficiency scanning brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities Familiarity with MRI monitors, IV pumps, and working with anesthesia cases Experience with EPIC and Siemens MRI equipment (required) Strong teamwork and communication skills Orientation & Support New Employee Orientation (NEO) 1 week of unit-specific training Typically staffed with an additional MRI Tech Leadership onsite during weekdays; on-call support on weekends Scheduling Notes Set schedule (Monday-Friday days) Call rotation: once every 6 weeks RTO must be approved by manager Initial screening with Clinical Interview Services (CIS), followed by manager interview
