Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing advanced imaging techniques. This role requires precision and technical expertise in interventional radiology to assist physicians in delivering exceptional patient care.
Location:
Based in Warner Robins, GA, this position offers the chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment within a bustling community known for its strong military presence and family-friendly amenities. Warner Robins provides a blend of Southern hospitality, affordable living, and access to excellent schools and outdoor activities.
Schedule and Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM 40 hours per week
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures Collaborate closely with radiologists and medical staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety Monitor patients during procedures and assist with positioning and equipment setup Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols Document procedures and maintain equipment functionality
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or IR Tech Proficient in operating fluoroscopic and other imaging modalities specific to IR Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting Certification or licensure as required by state regulations
