A leading healthcare setting seeks a knowledgeable CT Technologist to perform high-quality imaging procedures and collaborate effectively with medical staff during a contracted assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders Prepare and position patients with care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure Operate, calibrate, and maintain CT imaging equipment to deliver optimal image quality Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide immediate support if needed Adhere to radiation safety regulations and infection control procedures Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding procedures and expectations Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with advanced certification in CT imaging Current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (Computed Tomography) Valid, unrestricted state licensure to practice as a CT Technologist Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Previous experience as a CT Tech in a clinical or hospital environment strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced medical setting This is a contract position ideal for a dedicated CT Technologist with a commitment to delivering quality imaging services and compassionate patient interaction.
