PRN Radiologic Technologist, Interventional Spine & Pain Apex Advanced Spine & Pain |

Meridian, Idaho Schedule:

PRN / Per Diem (daytime procedure hours, no nights, weekends, or call) About Us Apex Advanced Spine & Pain is an interventional spine and pain clinic in Meridian, Idaho. We perform fluoroscopically guided procedures in a fast-paced, patient-focused outpatient setting. We're looking for an experienced PRN Radiologic Technologist who knows the spine, knows the C-arm, and can step into our procedure room ready to work. Position Summary The PRN Rad Tech runs fluoroscopic imaging for interventional spine and pain procedures, working directly with our physicians to get accurate, efficient imaging while keeping radiation exposure as low as reasonably achievable. This role covers staff PTO, high-volume days, and scheduling gaps. Key Responsibilities Operate the C-arm fluoroscopy unit for interventional pain procedures, including: Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections (interlaminar and transforaminal) Facet joint injections and medial branch blocks Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) Sacroiliac (SI) joint injections Selective nerve root blocks Spinal cord stimulator trials and other advanced procedures as offered Anticipate physician needs and get correct views quickly (AP, lateral, oblique, contralateral oblique), minimizing fluoro time and repositioning Position patients safely and comfortably for imaging Follow ALARA principles and clinic radiation safety policies, including shielding and dosimetry for patients and staff Help with room turnover and procedural flow as needed Maintain patient privacy and comply with HIPAA Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program Current ARRT certification, Radiography (R) Current BLS certification At least 1 year of C-arm fluoroscopy experience in interventional spine and/or pain management Strong knowledge of spinal anatomy and fluoroscopic landmarks Able to work independently with minimal orientation Reliable, professional, and able to work well with physicians and clinical staff Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of interventional spine and pain experience Experience with RFA and spinal cord stimulator procedures Experience in an ASC or outpatient procedural setting Familiarity with OEC or similar C-arm systems Bilingual in English and Spanish Physical Requirements Able to stand for long periods and wear lead protective apparel Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioning Compensation $40
