The ideal candidate will be well organised, confident in making decisions, well informed about current medical procedures and be able to work independently. The X-Ray Technician will maintain high quality images for review by physicians and other health care professionals, and may also be asked to respond to urgent care needs outside of scheduled procedures.

Responsibilities:

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply Must have completed the Radiologic Technology program from an accredited school. Must have current licensing with AART and IEMA. Welcome patients, prepare and set up x-ray room for patient, position x-ray equipment and adjust exposure factors, position patient and x-ray equipment to obtain an optimum view of specific body area as requested by physician, adhere to guidelines of ALARA, as recommended by ARRT, and effectively communicate with physician. Communicating with patients on a frequent basis. Work as a medical receptionist answering calls and coordinating patient care. Help assist Medical Assistants in checking in patients, taking vital and charting patient medical history. Any other task assigned by management. Bilingual is a plus. Candidates should be able to work evenings and alternating weekends.
