Bi-lingual in spanish is a plus. Duties Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal image quality for diagnostic evaluation Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and addressing any concerns Maintain strict adherence to equipment safety procedures and aseptic techniques to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to acquire accurate images and facilitate diagnostic radiology assessments Utilize Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) to store, retrieve, and manage medical images securely Ensure compliance with patient safety regulations, medical terminology standards, and physiology knowledge during all procedures Qualifications Proven experience operating MRI scanners with a solid understanding of medical imaging principles Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques Proficiency in using MRI scanners, CT equipment, DEXA scans, sonography devices, and other diagnostic tools Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required to respond effectively in emergency situations Skilled in IV insertion, vascular access procedures, and maintaining patient safety throughout imaging processes Familiarity with medical terminology, medical equipment operation, and equipment safety procedures Strong communication skills for explaining procedures clearly and ensuring patient comfort and cooperation Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills make a difference!
