How You'll Contribute:
Performs CT exams and advanced post‑processing (CTA, 3D, MIP, VR, MPRs, vessel analysis) per protocols, ACR standards, and radiologist direction. Applies correct positioning, technical factors, shielding, and radiation‑dose optimization to obtain high‑quality diagnostic images. Collaborates with radiologists to tailor scan protocols based on patient history and clinical needs. Prepares, transports, positions, and monitors patients throughout procedures; explains exams and addresses patient questions. Initiates IV access and administers contrast media per policy; obtains consent and screens for labs, allergies, and contraindications. Follows complete CT workflow including patient identification, documentation, image transfer to
PACS, QA
resolution, and case completion. Operates and maintains CT equipment and systems (PACS, RadNet, injectors, workstations); performs daily QA and reports malfunctions. Documents patient history, incidents, reactions, charges, and supplies accurately; assists with scheduling and exam prioritization. Maintains compliance with safety, infection control, emergency response, fire safety, accreditation, and regulatory requirements. Maintains current licensure and certifications; participates in continuing education and trains staff and students as needed.
What We Are Looking For:
1 year general radiology preferred.
