We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician /Medical Assistant to join our Orthopaedic healthcare team. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, with experience in various imaging modalities including X-ray and fluoroscopy. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and patient care are paramount. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-rays) safely and accurately. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper operation and cleanliness. Follow radiation safety protocols and guidelines. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to obtain accurate imaging results. Document procedures and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards. Perform Patient Intake. Medical Assistant Duties. Qualifications AART-certified Current state licensure as required Knowledge of radiographic procedures, radiation safety, and medical imaging equipment Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience Proven experience as an X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist with proficiency in diagnostic radiology procedures. Experience working in Orthopedics is a plus Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Prior experience with medical imaging equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Pay:

$29.00 - $35.00 per hour
