Position Summary:

MISS Staffing is seeking an experienced and dependable CT Technologist for a part-time opportunity at an imaging facility in Tinley Park, Illinois . The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating a GE Optima CT scanner and performing high-quality diagnostic CT examinations while providing excellent patient care. We are particularly interested in candidates with cardiac CT experience , including experience performing Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA) and Cleerly-related cardiac CT examinations . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CT Technologist looking for a consistent two-day-per-week schedule with no weekend hours .

Schedule Tuesdays:

8:00 AM-5:00

PM Thursdays:

8:00 AM-5:00 PM Two consistent days per week No weekends Key Responsibilities Operate a GE Optima CT scanner to perform diagnostic CT examinations. Prepare, position, and educate patients before and during CT procedures. Perform routine and advanced CT examinations according to established protocols. Perform cardiac CT examinations, including CCTA , when appropriately qualified. Follow imaging protocols associated with Cleerly coronary analysis examinations . Properly administer contrast media when required and within scope of practice. Monitor patients before, during, and following examinations. Produce diagnostic-quality images while following appropriate radiation dose-reduction practices. Review images for positioning, technical quality, and completeness before releasing Follow infection-control, radiation-safety, and patient-safety procedures. Perform required equipment quality-control procedures. Communicate effectively with radiologists, referring providers, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team. Maintain patient privacy and comply with HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications:

ARRT certification in Radiography and/or Computed Tomography as required for the position. Current credentials and licensing required to practice in Illinois. Current BLS certification. Previous CT experience. Experience operating GE CT equipment preferred . Strong patient-care and communication skills. Ability to work independently and maintain an efficient patient workflow. Pay:

$55.00 - $60.00 per hour
