Duties Perform diagnostic procedures with precision in various clinical settings such as urgent care, emergency rooms, Level I and Level II trauma centers, ensuring high-quality images for accurate interpretation. Implement and follow radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself during all imaging processes. Assist in specialized imaging techniques including sonography (ultrasound), interventional radiology procedures, and physiology-based assessments. Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures clearly, ensuring comfort, maintaining aseptic techniques, and supporting patients throughout the imaging process. Collaborate with physicians and radiologists for diagnostic evaluation and ensure images meet clinical standards for quality and clarity. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, equipment operation logs, safety protocols adherence, and patient records. Skills Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols effectively. Experience working in urgent care settings or emergency room environments with Level I or Level II trauma center exposure preferred. Ability to interpret medical images accurately to assist in diagnostic evaluation. Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication and adherence to aseptic techniques during all procedures.
